PROJECT OVERVIEW
Present day living is characterized by innumerable uncertainties, stressors, and chronic illnesses. More often than not life appears to be out of balance, and lasting happiness seems a farfetched goal. Science and technology certainly have changed our lives for better, providing us with amenities that make our lives quite comfortable. Along with the material prosperity came significant distress caused by various physical and psychological stressors impinging on our inner resources and resilience. We are far from dealing effectively and efficiently with stress of life, chronic illnesses and imbalances. Our efforts to create a balance within ourselves and outside of ourselves seem misdirected.
