The centre, which started functioning with just 25 members, is today a force to reckon with having 153 members in its fold. All the major industries and organisations like CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar; Odisha State Pollution Control Board, Bhubaneswar; IPICOL, Bhubaneswar; NALCO etc. are the major contributors of distinguished membership to this centre. The track record of this Centre within the short is indeed quite impressive with major events like CHEMINAR-93, ENERGYSHOP-94, BAUXAL-95, TECHSHOP-96, GOLDEN JUBLEE-98, INTERACTIVE GET-TOGETHER-99, CHEMINAR-2001, CHEMCON-2003, PCPIR-2014, Coal Gasification – 2014, Seminar on Non-Ferrous Mineral Industries-Growth and Challenges -2015, Odisha-Investors” Destination for Chemicals and Petrochemicals-2017, Centre’s Silver Jubilee Celebration on September 12, 2017, CHEMCON-2021 etc. organised by this Centre.
